His Ranch His Ranch Program How You Can Help His Ranch

Welcome to the HIS Ranch website!

EMPOWERING CHILDREN WITH HOPE, THROUGH THE LOVE OF JESUS CHRIST,

BY LEARNING, WORKING AND PLAYING TOGETHER

HIS Ranch is a ministry that was laid on our hearts by God to make a difference in a hurting world.  As the word "ranch" implies, we plan to offer horse-care and horseback riding lessons free of charge to children who choose to take advantage of this service.  We will also offer many other activities such as fishing, gardening, wood-working and perhaps a variety of others as we grow and develop.  Our focus is somewhat for those who are at a disadvantage because of the circumstances of life, but we will be available to all children -any age - or adults too, if the need arises.

OUR HISTORY -In the fall of 2004, my wife Susan and I started asking God if we could be doing more to serve Him.  We also asked if He would show us His direction for our lives in serving Him.  In the spring of 2005 our prayers were answered in a very real way.  As my daughter read a story to me from the book Hope Rising by Kim Meeder, I cried out to God in my heart, asking "Why is there so much pain in this world?"  God's answer was clear. "That's the way it is, but this is what I want you to do. Start a ranch like Crystal Peaks."  I wept as the reality of the moment sank in.  I then shared the idea with my dear wife and we started to plan.  Our family and friends have been very supportive and it has been very faith-building to see our Great God open doors and work through His people to make HIS Ranch a reality.

We were privileged to serve approximately 30 children throughout 2007 and are looking forward to increasing that number dramatically in 2008 and into the future.  If you are aware of children or families that could benefit from our facility, please send them our way!

A special thanks to all who attended and helped with our Grand Opening.  We were so blessed by your participation on this special day.
